I have always loved crime thriller books, getting cold thanks to character almost getting caught in an act thrills me. So, let’s get to it.
And Then There Were None By Agatha Christie
“Crime is terribly revealing. Try and vary your methods as you will, your tastes, your habits, your attitude of mind, and your soul is revealed by your actions.”
The queen of mystery , the only book I’ve read by Agatha and she’s the queen no kidding. I would have sworn my hair stood reading some chapters and then think ”why am I doing this to myself”
Behind Closed Doors by B.A Paris
This book is all about not judging a book by its cover, some marriages may look perfect but one would be suffering immensely behind the scenes. A book that after reading, you’re worried to not fall in love with a psychopath.
Catch me by Lisa Gardner ( Detective D.D series)
Book two I have read by Lisa (first was NEVER TELL) under the D.D series some intense crime stories revolve around . What I’ve come to learn, whatever person you think did it, didn’t do it, but again you can’t help yourself from jumping into conclusion. Well done Lisa, you turned me into a detective thanks to reading your books.
Verity by Colleen Hoover
This was shock transitioning from an author who has been writing romance kind of book, to psychological thriller. I read this book last year and till today I would force one into it. Never have I been bothered like that, the twists were unbearable but very worth the scare and goosebumps. Visit the review https://wanjirukay.com/review/verity-by-colleen-hoover-book-review/
It by Stephen King
Uncle Stevie’s descriptive writing is what makes one sit on the edge of the seat while reading. Definitely my favorite King novel that I’ve read so far, he delivered the conflicting feelings as you read the book. The movie is out I will be checking out but of course the book is always better.
“We make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones.”
